UPDATE ON ROAD CLOSURE

Depending on weather, the sidewalk by Sunrise Lake is likely to be back open to foot traffic on Saturday.
Rain is the issue. The crews plan to remove the boat and pipe this week, but the rainy forecast may cause a delay. They want to minimize the impact of moving the heavy dredging boat across water-soaked ground.
Street closing will continue for another three -- maybe 4 weeks -- depending on weather, drying conditions and removal of dirt.

Any idea when the large bags will be removed from the street? The equipment has been gone for well over a week.
