SCHEDULE NEIGHBORHOOD HOA ANNUAL MEETINGS BEFORE OCTOBER 18
Posted on Aug 23rd, 2015
It’s time to schedule the annual HOA meetings for the seven Lakepoint neighborhoods. Each neighborhood meeting should take place before the annual Lakepoint HOA meeting, which is set for October 18.
Holding neighborhood annual meetings before the Lakepoint annual meeting will give residents the opportunity to elect new board members for their neighborhood and to nominate a potential representative for the Lakepoint Master HOA Board elections. The early meeting will also give residents a chance to develop any questions or concerns to address at the Master HOA meeting. In addition, the neighborhood boards -- at their annual meetings -- can encourage neighbors to attend the Master Board annual meeting. The Master HOA annual meeting is October 18, 3 p.m. in the ballroom at the Wichita Country Club.
The bylaws require that the neighborhood boards notify their residents at least 15 days before the scheduled annual meeting. The website is a good vehicle for that announcement. You can email the webmater with your event details by clicking HERE, or you can add your own event to the website following these instructions:
- On the right side of the home page, scroll to Upcoming Events and click on “View all Events.”
- Near the top right of that page, click on “Add new event.”
- Fill in the meeting details and click on “save.”
Active neighborhood boards are essential to the overall welfare of Lakepoint. Schedule your annual HOA neighborhood board meeting now!
