Several Lakepoint trees, usually Bradford Pears or Callery Pears, were spotted with fireblight recently. This bacterial condition spreads and may eventually kill the tree. Please check your trees for fireblight to help prevent spread to other trees in your yard and in the community. Infected trees may be saved with careful pruning.
