When a dog's gotta go, he's just gotta go and sometimes it's in the Lakepoint commons areas, particularly along the sidewalks. Many conscientious Lakepoint dog owners bring a plastic bag to eliminate the "eliminations," but sometimes forget the bag.  Or one bag is not enough. Lakepoint's three new Dog Stations have come to the rescue. Each plastic-bag-filled station is on a green metal pole close to a sidewalk. You simply pull out a bag, put it on your hand like a glove. Grab your doggie deposit with your "gloved" hand and pull the bag from your hand. Viola! The mess is contained! Just tie a knot in the top and take the bag home for disposal.  Please don't leave filled bags in the commons.  You'll find a dog station near the center of Lakepoint, another station to the south end and one on the north end by Waterfall Lake, shown here. 

Thanks for using the stations.  No more stepping on a big pile of waste that oozes up into your sandals!
