DELINQUENT HOA DUES LIENS NOW FILED AT $800
Posted on Jun 2nd, 2014
At the last meeting, the Lakepoint Master HOA board elected to file a lien on a Lakepoint property when the homeowner is $800 overdue on HOA fees, rather than the $1,000 threshold used previously. This move was necessary because, unfortunately, not all Lakepoint residents pay their HOA dues on time. Sometimes they just quit paying.
In addition, when a resident is $500 delinquent on HOA dues, his name, address and the amount overdue is published on this website. (Click on "Delinquent Dues" on the left to see the current list.) Or, click HERE to view the list.
NOTE: As of July 17, there are no delinquint dues!
Without the HOA dues, Lakepoint has no operating funds. Grass would go unmown. Trees, not planted. There would be no electricity to light the path lights or run the pumps that feed well water into the irrigation. Lakepoint would look dismal. Property values would plunge.
It's imperative that every resident fulfill their responsiblity to pay their dues. Please do your part.
