Hundreds of candy-filled eggs were quickly snatched up by an eager crowd of Lakepoint youngsters Sunday afternoon, March 20. The first annual Lakepoint Easter Egg was a bit cool and windy, but that didn't diminish the excitement one bit. Three lucky egg hunters each found a sparkly golden egg which gave them a beautiful basket from our generous sponsors, Dean & DeLuca, Whole Foods and the Farris Wheel. Thanks to these sponsors for making our event more fun!

 

Also a big thanks to Lakepoint's social director, Sonja Seidl and her co-chair, Marty Lee, for organizing the event. Kudos to other volunteers who stuffed eggs, cleaned the Picnic Point grounds and hauled tables and equipment. These volunteers include Bob Seidl, Marty's nephew, Jeremy, Betsy Redfield, Rhonda Castrisos, Macrina Castrisos, Skye Lacy, Gerald Morton, Carl Nelson, Steve Ramsey and Carolyn Ramsey. A special thanks to our resident Easter Bunny, aka Steve Keleher.

 

A number of people signed up as potential volunteers for future events and Lakepoint functions. Without volunteers, we could not do these events. Thank you all.
