The Lakepoint HOA Master Board recently appointed Andy Smith (Gatewood) as Chairman of Special Projects. The board sometimes needs a helping hand for special projects and Andy had a helping hand to offer!

 

Andy and his family movied to Lakepoint about six years ago from College Hill.  He is interested in volunteering with the neighborhood because he believes it to be the best area in Wichita to live.

"Just coming home through our neighborhood gives a feeling of peace and serenity," he said. "It is a beautiful area and I want to continue the tradition of an upscale place to live.

 

"We knew all of our neighbors and all of their kids in College Hill, where I grew up," continued Andy. "I wanted to become more involved in bringing together our homeowners, making new friends and having the community spirit in Lakepoint for our children, just as I was accustomed to while growing up."
