If you've noticed a strong garlic smell recently when walking along Gatewood, between Picnic Lake and Sunset Lake, there's a good reason.  Suburban sprayed an garlic-based goose deterrent in the area. So far, it appears the geese aren't big fans of garlic, because they have moved to other areas nearby. 

 

If test areas of spray continue to prove effective, the Master Board will consider applying the spray to a broader area. This product is safe for pets.
