HOA DETERMINED TO REDUCE DELINQUINT HOA DUES
Posted on Nov 14th, 2013
Delinquent HOA dues have always been a concern to the Lakepoint Master Board, but one board member in particular -- Don Hysko, Autumn Chase -- is working tirelessly to ease those concerns. When he came onto the board about three years ago, about $21,500 of HOA dues had not paid. Today, that number is down to $...... Don is to be commended.
Without the income from the HOA dues, Lakepoint could not be maintained. There would not be funds to mow and water the grass, replace light bulbs, or maintain and improve the landscape. When a homeowner buys a home here, that resident buys responsibility to follow covenants and to pay dues.
When homeowners are $500 or more delinquint, their name, address and amount due is posted on this website. (Click on Delinquent Dues.) When the deliquency hits $1,000, the board files a lien on the home. None of this should be necessary if homeowners would simply honor their responsibilities. And you they would give Don a break!
