Without the HOA dues, Lakepoint has no operating funds. Grass would go unmown. Trees, not planted. There would be no electricity to light the path lights or run the pumps that feed well water into the irrigation. Lakepoint would be pretty dismal. It's imperative that every resident fulfill their responsiblity to pay their dues.
