Three maples have not been transplanted yet because they were planted over utilities. Suburban will dig them by hand -- rather than use the tree spade -- and move the trees in the next few weeks. They will go at the south end of Lakepoint in an open clearing across Honeysuckle Lake.
Once again, we will have a tunnel of white blooms as you enter from 13th Street and for the first time, you'll see lots of brilliant red maples punctuating Lakepoint in the fall.
