HIRED DOGS, DETERRENT, LASER TO HELP KEEP GEESE AT BAY

These methods work and follow Kansas Wildlife guidelines that suggest using a variety of methods to keep the geese away.
According to the last Audubon goose count, there are 65,000 geese in the Wichita area. Hundreds of them have invaded Lakepoint -- a problem that hits our lakes, lawns and sidewalks every year. Cleaning the sidewalks help ... for a day or so ... and the board will continue to do this, although budget contraints prevent cleaning them as often as they would like.
At times, it may not seem like Lakepoint is winning the Great Battle of the Goose, but this area is in far better shape than many other neighborhoods.
